Yeah, I keep seeing more and more Skodas here in Finland, and each time I get envious :) Where is MY car?!

Same here in Slovenia, last year they were quite rare but now they are everywhere.

Finally had an update and my car is completed and on the way 3/4 weeks

Ordered August 21

Build week 6 awaiting parts

VRS 2.0 4x4 hatch in mamba green

dealer thinks it is probably one of the first in mamba for the UK

Can’t wait hopefully almost a year waiting has been worth it!

Oh man this makes me hard to stay still! I've also got august order RS iV in mamba green.

Went to production on week 6 and has been waiting for parts since then. So much hoping to get same news soon.

Also i've been trying the VIN daily on the MySkoda app. Not sure if that should have any real hint on the car being ready?

2024 Skoda Octavia Facelift Spied For The First Time (motor1.com)

Maybe we´ll get our cars before the facelift arrives 😄

Wonder when that's going to be out since there's so many current orders in queue. Also what even changed? 😛

I'd think that they'll postpone the facelift to make any sense in current orders.

Its right there - 2024 :)

Yeah is that real? I've heard about 2024 facelift for Seat Leon's also, but i also heard that Leon PHEV deliveries are postponed to 2024 :) Since Cupra orders are being prioritized, i've heard that 2021 ordered Seat Leon's are getting production weeks for 2024.

Just great. So I will get my car after waiting more than one year and few months later it will be an old model. They are really idiots, sorry, I have no other words for Skoda right now. 🤭

Isn't facelift mean, that there will be some new parts? Headlights for example, like in the past generation. Based on my experience with Škoda, i don't see a way, how they can manage production of new parts without bigger delays, so maybe they will postpone facelift?

I do agree with this.

yes i know how you feel,it is 13 months tomorrow since i ordered my car.we ordered a new car and now we will be getting a older model.like a few on here i will never order another skoda.what happened to the system that has worked for many years.ie you order the car and then you go onto a waiting list and when you get the top you get your car.yet again we are talking about the world that skoda lives on they are a complete joke and how they can not see this is beyond me.

I think they are starting to catch up with sales orders

But anyone leasing is probably still in a theoretical queue as leasing companies have bulk deals to get excess production at a good rate, and not likely to be much of that until we’ll into 2023

Starting to catch up? They couldn't catch a cold in the Arctic.

@jordixo and @GregB11x fist congratulations for your cars I hope that you get keys soon 👍👏

Then second question if your cars are finish, this means that Antolin restarted production for door panels V4 for Octavia RS?

Do someone have some information about this? 🙄

Update from dealer

VRS 2.0 TSI Estate ordered May 21. Final colour change as paints had been discontinued was September 21 so maybe that would be order fate

Built and awaiting parts

Was told 6 weeks ago it was in transit!

Depends where its sitting in compound I presume

But looking like door panels back in production

72 plate possibility?

contacted dealer today relating to delivery dates.he contacted skoda[uk] and they have had no news on my car.they say they will look into it and get back to me if they have any news.in other words sit down and shut up.

Using the spreadsheet its good to see some people getting their cars after a very long wait. A uk skoda dealer advertising on facebook gave me the following in response to a question about Octavia delivery times.

"our Octavia iVs have a delivery time of approximately 39 weeks for the Estate, and 52 weeks for the Hatch, depending on engine, options and other factors"

yes but it still looks like the biggest delay is the vrs cars.just hope with doors are getting back into production lately.i may get some news in the next week or so.I HOPE

Yes, RS door panels was supposed to continue production in june, but later it was week 25. So RS door panels should be on production from this week.

Still waiting for any update from my dealer about the production. Dealer claims that my car should be ready in july/august. Don't believe in july, since i've got no news yet. Dealer also claimed that deliver times from factory have been delayed for some reason. Maybe so few cars produced so they wait for larger transports.

just hope you are right about the door panels.so many false dawns.fingers crossed

With a car sales person / executive / dealer principal best that you just ask them where they get their stories.

Is it from the factory from a reliable source or a document released to dealerships or are they just going on Chinese whispers and from a man who knows a man or woman.

There is a load of guff being told daily and weekly and monthly by car sales people to customers and potential customers.

Skoda / VW can do press releases if they want when they want to tell people rather than allowing the rumour mill.
