Help with code please

Featured Replies

Afternoon all. Can anyone explain this code to me. It came up on my OBDELEVEN after getting an engine light and "start stop error" caption. I can clear it but it occasionally reappears. Is it serious? I have a bluespark performance unit fitted. Skoda said no faults were found when I took it in for diagnostic and bluespark said their tuning box "shouldn't" throw that code out.

Thanks in advance.  I'm a bit of a worrier when I get dash lights illuminated. Car is a 2019 245 vrs

Plenty of info on Google

Possibly the turbo pressure sensor. Thankfully the car is under warranty so should be fixed. Next time it comes on I would leave it and re book it in with Skoda.

See P0236

P0236 is an OBD-II generic code that is triggered when the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects the intake boost pressure sensor A input circuit range or performance is out of specifications when compared to the manifold pressure sensor (MAP) or the barometric pressure sensor (BARO) at idle and with the key on, engine off, before starting.
