Octavia onboard system update

Featured Replies

Hello all!

I have a 2019 version of Octavia break in blue race (so nice color!) and since the very 1st day, I got issue on Android Auto.

I tested with an iPhone and Apple carplay seems to be more stable. I also tryed the MirrorLink  (way less sexy) and this is also unstable.

I tested with 4 different Samsung android phones and this is always unstable.

3 times on 4, the connection is lost and needs minutes to be able to reconnect.

The last time, the onboard computer is rebooting (Black screen and Skoda logo, etc...)

Having a smartphone freshly rebooted don't change anything.

I was looking for an update of the onboard system, but as far as I red on the forums, this is not publicly transfered.

Is there any source on which I could find it out?

Software : 0472

Thanks in advance for your knowledge and help.

Thanks.

Should I delete my topic (if I am allowed to?)

Yes, you need 0478 - which will fix a lot of gremlins....I've written a process on here on how to upgrade the firmware.

@Racailloux Just one other suggestion to add. A number of posts on poor Android Auto connectivity have found it to be the cable used to be the issue. Might also be worth a try unless you have already done so?

@paulskiYes, I tryed with 2 different cables.

I could have a try with another one too.
