Hi All, came across this forum while researching the Enyaq, found it useful and just placed my order this morning! However, they said due to the lack of semi-conductors, that expected delivery would be March 2022!

I opted for:

- Enyaq iV 60

- Black Magic

- 19" Anthracite Wheels (was really torn on this option, wanted the 20" but just couldn't justify the cost difference in replacing tyres between 19" and 20")

- Loft Trim (wife is vegetarian, so couldn't get the Suite :) )

- Comfort Seat Package Basic

- Convenience Package Plus

- Drive Sport Package Basic

- Assisted Drive Package Basic

- Parking Package Basic

- Sports Suspension

- Panoramic Sunroof

- 100kW Charging

- Heat Pump

- Double Sided Boot Floor

- Eclectically Retractable Tow Bar

- All Weather Floor Mats

Price came to £39,195 on the configurator (with the Government grant), managed to get them to discount it down to £38,000.

They said I've still got about 2 weeks to make any changes to the options, so would be interested to hear anyone else's opinions on the spec and if they think I should add or remove anything?

Also, did anyone opt for any additional insurances on offer (alloy wheel repair, cosmetic repair, tyre and gap insurances), would be useful to get some opinions on these as haven't selected any yet (will probably definitely get the gap insurance though).

Cheers

I was considering Family Package Basic just for the electric child safety locks but not that bothered, as can do it manually. Also considered Climate Package Basic but I've done without heated seats up to now, so figured I won't miss what I haven't had.

Not sure what I did above, was trying to edit my original post but couldn't figure it out and ended up quoting and re-posting, so apologies :)  Probably best to read the re-posted one, as has additional info.

GAP insurance is almost always cheaper from someone *other* than the dealer, including a few site sponsors like these guys

Thanks @Wet Kipper, haven't bought a car on PCP before, so that's useful to know I can get the insurances elsewhere for less.  Does anyone have any recommendations of where they've got gap insurance from before?

I went back to the dealer and changed my spec, decided to take out the Sports Suspension, not sure why I added this in, thought might be nice to have it lowered but realised it was only 15mm.  Put the Family Package Basic on instead, so here's my final spec:

- Enyaq iV 60

- Black Magic

- 19" Anthracite Wheels

- Loft Trim

- Comfort Seat Package Basic

- Convenience Package Plus

- Drive Sport Package Basic

- Assisted Drive Package Basic

- Parking Package Basic

- Family Package Basic

- Panoramic Sunroof

- 100kW Charging

- Heat Pump

- Double Sided Boot Floor

- Electrically Retractable Tow Bar

- All Weather Floor Mats

Re the Gap insurance, I went with one of the site sponsors as it was the best deal available.

Me too!

Thanks All, will have a look at that one then, might also look at the allow wheel repair cover!

I am well pleased with my insurance that I took out for my 60 - GAP for two years and after that expert + 20%

With 50% no claims 320 Euros p.a. A tad less than my Toyota Yaris!. French Insurer as I am in France.

Excess 500 on damages however (except Wind screen).

You've probably got longer than 2 weeks to change the options in the current climate. We were told it would be locked in by 2 weeks, but we don't have a build date yet and we ordered 3 weeks ago and ours is still open - although who knows when it will be locked down. We were told 17 weeks for delivery but that was after signing a waiver to say they can't give a date, and it appears a few weeks before they started to put everyone on a 30 week delivery timescale. Chip shortage has a lot to answer for!

Unfortunately the 20" aren't free anymore, they removed that and it's now £530

For those that have just recently received theirs, that's great and they look good! How long did it take from order to delivery?

For anyone who's just ordered, what lead time have you been given for delivery? I ordered mine a month ago but have heard nowt since!

Ordered ours June 23rd with a build week last week, which didn't happen. No new build week given as yet....

Re  Gap insurance

car dealer offered a package of gap insurance, new tyres if tyre flat or unrepairable, also repair scratches on body up to 10 cm for 550 pounds for either two or  three years I can’t remember!

I thought the offer is brilliant.   Still waiting for my enyaq.  Ordered on 25th July

I was given Week 36 as my build week from the dealer, how can I find out if its happening etc?

Just got an email update on my order, very informative 😂:

I am pleased to update you with the progress of your new Skoda.

Current Status:
Production week – TBC
Estimated handover week – TBC

If in the meantime, you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

I will contact you within the next 2 weeks with a further update.

Just ordered mine, so now for the long wait 🙁

I tried a few EVs at the Fully Charged Show, then did a test drive on the ones I liked best, for me at 6' 5" 1.95 m it was the Enyaq or ID4 (Model Y looks like 2023/4 before getting it in UK, orders may start end 2022 from what I have seen), had a bigger smile after driving the Enyaq.  (both from dealers and drove for over 1 hour, Enyaq twice had to get Wife's approval 🙂).

As this is my first EV, I tried to configure options to help with my range anxiety, did I get it right? two luxury's were Auto Boot opening and Pano Roof.

Enyaq 80

Quartz Grey Metallic

19" Regulus Anthracite metallic alloy wheels

Loft

125 kW - DC battery charging
Heat pump for battery
Tow bar preparation

Climate Package Basic

Convenience Package Plus

Drive Sport Package Basic

Assisted Drive Package Plus

Panoramic sunroof

Family Package Basic

Weight class steering (this seems to be extra brake cylinder added as soon as you add Pano Roof or Heat Pump).
