But engine (starter/ solenoid ) does not start?

Fitted new battery (7 years old anyway).

Still the same. Headlights on full , no drop in lights power.

Possible now, checking ign. switch & feed to solenoid.

Anyone had the same problem? 

Clutch pedal switch ? 

 You may not have one as i was going by the forum you posted in ,
