Triple R Composites Front Splitter

Featured Replies

I've been looking into front splitter options and notice that TRC don't make anything for current Skoda models. I know there are Rieger and Maxton options however I am not convinced on their quality.

When I reached out to TRC last week they stated they were very busy currently but to touch base with them in a few months time about potential development.

Anyone else keen? If so I'd strongly suggest expressing your interest because if there is enough they should develop something.

For those who don't know, TRC produce products predominantly for the Ford and Vauxhall market and their quality is very good.

Among the known options, I've read the best reviews about the Rieger one, Superskoda and Maxton less so.

I'd consider a front splitter if every manufacturer didn't go for that design of extending the spoiler towards the front of the car by a 3-5cm which to me looks too "racey" and out of place on a Superb.

I would like something that discreetly extends *below* the front mask , not in front of it, the car doesn't need any more length :D

I found the maxton which I’ve got fitted to my 272 to be very well made, it fits like a glove with no gaps and the quality is also very good, due to the latest sportline front bumper design it does follow the lines very well

Anyone knows where can get real carbon fiber one?

The Maxton rear diffuser is a bit melty, but the splitters and side skirts are very good indeed. Rieger is the king of quality for these but I prefer the Maxton front splitter for the FL Superb. TRC are good, my Dad has a front splitter from them for his Ibiza but it’s GRP where Maxton and Rieger use ABS which I think is a better material being lighter and more flexible, something very important for a front splitter.

I find the Rieger products top notch in terms of quality, fitment & durability.

I used to have a full Rieger body kit on a 2005 Astra I used to have - it was brilliant.

I now have Rieger side skirts on my Superb.  The fitment is on point.  It uses existing mount points and holds well to the body.

As @SashaGrace mentioned, they're made of high quality ABS plastic, a must for these types of components.

I too am considering a front splitter, but looking at Rieger as it doesn't stick out like a snow plow, when compared to other offerings!!!

Like @newbie69, I don't like protruding splitters offered by Maxton and Kopacek.

Only thing is if I do get the splitter, then I'll jeopardise Gandalf's "subtle" look!

@JR RS did you import your side skirts or get them from a retailer in Australia?

i imported the side skirts myself using myGermany for shipping (cost 100 euros) .  i purchased from Rieger Tuning GmbH (in Germany) directly.

previously, a mob in melbourne called Prestige Auto Works were the nominated importers for Rieger in Australia - but their service was sh1thouse n they were never interested in helping.

hence why i went my own way to import it.

since then, Rieger now use Exotic Cars in Sydney to import Rieger bits to Australia.   they (Arthur) is very helpful.  i'm currently talking to him about the front splitter.

Thanks @JR RS - coincidentally I sent them an email this morning about backorder time.

No, not original Skoda ones, but AliExpress ones.

I had to cut/mould it to fit around the Rieger side skirt, otherwise there is no way it would fit.
