Hi all

Having done a search can't see anyone with my specific issue. I suspect a failing strut.

Regardless of button used to open boot: it opens about 200mm beeps and then closes. I can use the boot button to open it ok if I give it a tiny amount of support. It closes fine and stays up fine.

Would this show up as a fault code? I have no warning light?

A side note I have an OBD II cable that I got for use with my old BMW E39 can I use this with the software or do I need new cable?
