Anyone got an idea of what a normal delivery duration is from Superskoda to the UK?

It used to be between 2-4 weeks depending on size, multiple items etc. I think current Customs controls may delay that, so extra patience may be required. 

 

Last items I ordered from them were the Monte Carlo black emblems & hub inserts; all arrived within about 21 days of ordering, but that was over 18 months ago pre-pandemic & Brexit issues.

Cheers mate, just two emblems on order, been about two weeks now. Wondering if current customs issues are getting in the way 

Funny enough I placed an order yesterday and was wondering on time. Seems a long while. I had Ali express items come in a week so I can't see pandemic making that much difference 

Yeah I had some cheapo emblems from eBay arrive but the colour match for race blue wasn’t even close. Now driving around badgeless for two weeks haha, it looks terrible 😂

Customs is massively intermittent quality at present, but delays are also added to by all the variables of different handling companies / couriers etc.

 

Amazon Prime has set our expectations too high ! My other half imports and exports a lot of products for her business, and frequently contacts various providers to understand what delays are going on. Air freight and land logistics are better than they were late last year / earlier this year, but still held up by a lot of red-tape nationally and internationally.

 

Best bet is to wait an extra week or so, and ensure you get tracked & signed postage on whatever you buy. Difficult with SuperSkoda/Kopacek (not sure if it is / was an option?) - but hang in there, it'll be worth the wait. #NewCarPartsDay 🎇🎆✨

Yeah Prime has spoilt us all rotten! Typically I have just received RM text saying its cleared customs, shouldn't be badgeless for much long 

theres another thread about superskoda, and recent orders to the UK reaching Holland after a couple of months, then being sent back to Superskoda as not deliverable to the UK. 

their customer service is also notoriously slow to deal with anything...

To be fair they arrived this morning, so roughly two weeks since order to get to UK. Been in customs for most of that time. 

Did you have to pay any import duty or VAT?
