Looking at getting new discs and pads fitted to my car. On euro car parts it gives me the option for vented rear discs. The ones on the car just now are not vented. Will the vented ones actually fit, given they are significantly thicker? 

Not a direct answer but ECPs parts look up by reg is shoddy to put it nicely. Our Fabia has drums at the rear, ECP suggests rear discs as a choice for our reg.

Just replace them like for like. So in your case it would be non vented. 

If you phone them they should be able to answer your query. They have better info on their screens than what we see on the web, I'm told.

I think I will just go with the safe option and go for the non vented ones.

I believe the vented are only on the 272/280 engined Superbs 👍

Even if they're the same diameter, vented discs are typically about 3 times thicker than solid discs from one wearing face to the other. So I'd expect that you'll need new calipers.

Yes. I have ordered the non vented ones. 

Non vented 300mm and vented are 310 but just on the 280’s as said above.. 

however just to confuse things I think some of the Superbs  also have 280ish on them
