Hello. Skoda Octavia mk3 vrs manual 2014. When I put the car in reverse the usual single beep to tell me i'm in reverse has stopped working and at the same time the rear sensors have stopped working. Anybody had this happen? Is there a fix?

Do the reversing lights turn on?

Hi Dave, yep the reverse lights are on. I checked the in car set up for parking and manoeuvring and its says 'not currently available'.

 

Any thoughts?

Get it scanned for fault codes?

 

Even a simple thing like the buzzer failing will disable the parking sensors but a scan will help narrow it down
