My guess would be a cheap VCDS clone scrambled or erased coding on one or more control modules. It's been known to happen in the past.

So what were you doing/trying to do when this problem happened?  And why not spend the extra money on a genuine VCDS cable? It's really not that expensive, and works much more reliably that the Chinese clones.

You haven't given enough information to allow us to solve this problem. The messed up coding is the result of something happening to the car, and that is the problem that needs to be solved. As @langers2k pointed out earlier in the thread, we don't know what the coding necessarily should be for your specific car. If you want help, explain what was done to the car to cause this problem first, along with any troubleshooting steps you have done or solutions you have attempted.

As above, given you've not said what you did or were trying to do before this happened and you're using a clone which may have cause some of these issues, I'm not sure I can help.

 

I'd suggest you contact whoever you purchased 'VCDS' from for support or find someone with genuine tools to take a look.

On a genuine VCDS you get a Log of all the changes made, the china copy might have that still coded. So even if this is a cheap china copy look for the log and retrace your steps. Then return or bin your copy and get a genuine VCDS.

Next time get an autoscan saved before you change anything.
