Hi All,

 

I’ve recently picked up a 2016 Octavia scout which I’m really impressed with. I have one question about the infotainment system and hope someone can shed some light. I’ve tried to search previous threads but didn’t see anything that matched. . 
 

If I stream audio over Bluetooth (podcast or music via Apple Music) the system seems to default to repeat option being selected. I believe it’s an MIB2 Amundsen system. I have the mix/repeat including option unchecked in settings which hasn’t made any difference. In the grand scheme of things, it’s a minor annoyance to have to turn this setting off each time I turn the car on. 
 

Is this the standard default or am I missing something in settings in order to default to not have repeat selected each time I start streaming.

Send us a pix of your Scout.

 

In terms of the MIB system, I think it is worth finding out what version of firmware you have on your system (press [hold] Menu -> Software -> Software Version) and send us the screenshot  There are various annoying niggles that can easily be sorted out via a firmware update on your system.

If we speak very nicely to @pab567 he will hopefully be able to provide the latest firmware for your system (SOP3.x).

I think the latest version of firmware is 0363 for that hardware.

Hello Im new to Skoda and this site, so sorry if I ask the wrong plads... How can I see what my radio is and if I can update?

 

I have some problems with the radio.

maybe someone could help me there...

 

1. how or can I mute the radio without removing all the sound. so if I just dont wish to hear the music.

2. I cant get android auto to work, if I use android auto 5,3 I can, But I am fored to updat and then I cant. My wifes phone can. both huawei both with the newes update.

3. what is the newes update for the radio?

4. and last. I see alot of those android car radio, is there one that I could use and still keep alt the goddies that the car has?
