Hi there, was looking to upgrade my current car (a mk1 fabia) and I landed on the VRS variant. I’ve seen these cars listed between £1000 and £4000 and was wondering what’s the best “bang for my buck” in terms of price, milage and extras (and if they’re worth it at all!) Any advice on things I should be aware of would be most appreciated, cheers!

 

I forgot to add, it’s a MK1 VRS!

Buy the car based on condition and history, not mileage.

 

Buy one that's standard or only lightly modified.

 

Buy one that's already had the clutch and cam belt done recently.
