Citigo clutch

Featured Replies

We have a 63 plate elegance from new only done 42,900 always serviced never no bother

but ! Today came to a junction pressed clutch and pedal felt really tight and weird there is no slipping at all

when on idle it’s making a weird noise and the bite is hard to find but just feels completely different

could it be the cable or clutch gone

No cable - it's a hydraulic clutch.

Check fluid level, but it could be a slave or master cylinder problem.

These, if the problem, are cheaper to fix than a clutch, so check first.

It could still be a failed clutch or release bearing or spring, but that's unusual at that mileage.....

Worst case is a failure of a bearing in 1st motion g'box shaft, perhaps?
