Spacers with 18's

Featured Replies

Just fitted my new 18s on my vrs (look the dogs danglies) just one problem that the rear centre caps don't fit on as the hub is in the way.

Do i need spacers? Think it needs 5mm!

Anyone else had this problem, are the hubs different front to back?

Thanks

Scott

Cant help you with info on the spacers but any pics of the car with your new wheels on?

The wheels must be the wrong offset. How wide are they and what is the offset (ET) mate?

they are 7.5" wide and et37.

wondered how long it would take!

just thought i'd tease you all.

pics will be up tomorrow with proper ones on monday!!! after its 2 day cleaning session.

Can you get a picture of the wheel mounted for me, im guessing the hubcentric part is sitting to far through the wheel to put the cap on. It could be down to the style of wheel or due to that its ET37 rather than

they are 7.5" wide and et37.

The offset is too big mate, shouldnt make "that" much difference though. Are the centre caps very deep?

yeh, startin to think its the style. but i'll post some daylight pics

same as glider's 17's so i'll ask him on sunday

would spacers give any problems just on the back?

Scott

oooh, black rims, really aggressive looking. Bet they look ace.

Hope you get some big brakes soon though, lol.

up to 15mm spaces with that offset shouldnt give a problem.

yeh aggro to go with the aggro grille.

i say same i mean same style. team dynamics just introduced a matt black and i was top of the list to get some!!!

just need to find some money to get brakes. need to pay for the arb first and hopefully a sump guard soon (would give me piece of mind)

PICS SOON GUYS I PROMISE!
