Newbie and first time Skoda Owner. Heart wanted an Octavia Mk1 VRS but head ended up buying a Mk3 SE with DSG!

Ive been going through this forum a lot and have found it really informative and also found there are loads of lovely people here.

I have always admired the Skoda brand since it joined the VAG group and back in the day my Dad had for a short while a Mk1 Octavia VRS which I drove a couple of times and fell in love with.

I have recently had to change cars which put me on the market for a reasonably priced family car.  Intiially I went straight in for a Mk1 VRS but after a epic battle between heart and head I ended up getting a fairly mint Mk3 SE Octavia. 

I found the 1.4 TSI didnt leave me wanting for power which I find amazing considering that it is £30 a year to tax and does reallly good MPG for a petrol enigne.  I have had a Mk 7 Golf GTI in the past and Ill be honest if I had the Octavia before that Im not sure I would have needed the GTI.

Now looking to add some mod cons like Andriod Auto, small sub woofer and potentially retrofit some steering wheel controls if possibe.
