Glovebox part number and price?

Featured Replies

Hello fellow Briskodians,

I have had my non-stuttering non-leaking '06 vRS for around 2 months now, i have just gone over the 1k mile mark and i am still loving it hugely (apart from the wrinkled seats that are being retrimmed, and a rattle that i have gotten to know and love now :) ).

Anywhoo, my lovely girlfriend decided to scuff the christ out of my glovebox with the ring that i bought her (the irony) last week, and the scratch is really annoying me even though its only an inch or so long - its right in the middle of it. Does anyone either know how to get rid of said scratch with some sort of magical interior scratch remover, or does anyone know the part no. and price for the glovebox so i can get a replacement?

Many thanks.

P.S. My rear speaker appears to be giving me a farting noise, which i guess is because whilst wearing in the engine i didnt really worry about the speakers and had them blasting out "For those about to rock" etc from day 1. Is it worth me getting a replacement from Skoda or should i just go to Halfrauds and hope they are the same size? :D

I think the lid is -

dash panel box lid onyx 6Y2 857 121 47H £47.70 inc

But check with the dealer first.

I can't see where they lid is detachable. I also need a new glove box :o

As for the speaker, I had one changed under warranty without me even asking - the service guy noticed it and replaced it. :)

Perhaps this might help -
