Octavia II fl cruise control retro-fit

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm looking to retro-fit cruise control to my 2011 Octavia. The car had Maxi Dot from the factory,  and steering wheel module 5K0 953 569 C. Having read the excellent guide from Mike Holroyd (linked below) and the information at the Ross Tech wiki at http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Steering_Wheel_Control_Module_Versions , I think the steering wheel module already fitted should support the CC. My questions are:

Can anyone tell me the part number of the stalk I need to order

Can anyone confirm that my steering wheel module is, indeed, "Cruise ready"?

And, finally, I have a full (genuine) CAN VCDS cable and the (12 point, from memory??) tool to undo the steering wheel bolt. Are there any "surprises" I should be looking out for?

Many thanks,

T
