According to German website that has estimated times of all group cars

https://www.marnet-mobility.de/aktuelle-lieferzeiten.html

Kodiaq has jumped to 11 months wait (+ extra 1-2 months for some options), allowing 1 month for delivery and PDI suggests new orders now ready Feb 2024 - April 2024

Hope it stays like that, it will keep the used prices nice and high for when we chop them in next time 😏

  • Well, after a 7 month wait, I picked up my Sportline facelift today. All options present, including Canton, and the electric child locks with the family pack.

I ordered in November . . . . . . .

Salesman showed me his screen with my order details, but no Build week yet. Status is P - planned.

I’m expecting my Kodiaq in summer 2023. Sometime. Anytime.

Current car lease will be extended till new one arrives.

After a long period of "no news", today I got a surprise call back from dealer and was told Build Week is 6.

That's a pleasant surprise.

Last Monday I chatted with VWFS directly, to be clear on the extension options.  They were very relaxed.

Can extend for anything - like 12 months - and return car at any time when new one shows up.

Looks like delivery will maybe fit nicely with the original 3 year termination in March.

Fingers crossed.

My current cars lease was up beginning of Dec and VVFS were the same with me, extended for up to a year. Bear in mind you will need to arrange a collection date for the current car with BCA which could need arranging a month or so before, so you could end up with (and paying for) both cars for a number of weeks

My build week was 48 and i'm still waiting, was told next update will be 7th Feb, but i've told them i want to delay to early March, so i can get a 23 plate and also allow me to arrange BCA collection now for an early March collection.

News from the seller…it’s ready to leave the factory…just waiting for the boat…let’s see if arrives before March…🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻(ordered 2022 february 22)

  • 2 weeks later...

Just been told I’m build week 9, after ordering in November, so should be end of March / early April.

Dealer told me Kodiaqs are now 12 months waiting list!

I think 12 months it’s a good time…i’m still wainting for my Kodiaq…it was to be deliver at week 8….now it’s wainting for a boat…ordered at february 22 of 2022…12 months already…and a few more days…i hope…🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

That is mental how come you’ve had to wait twelve months?

We had a factory order Sportline ordered in May ‘22 and have had it since September last year!

But i´m in Portugal...it´s too far away...LOL Let´s see if it won`t take a lot more of 12 months...

Today I was told new car is at port of departure..

Looking good for March. Could be 19 weeks from order.

Am currently looking at upgrading from a Superb to a Kodiaq, details in a different post, but wanted to say that I have spoken to three dealers (my local and two on Car Wow) and they are all saying 15 to 19 weeks from order to delivery.

That's good - what spec are you looking at, as I know this makes a huge difference? Sportline are 12 months ish and, if you want a Kodiaq VRS in the UK, forget it! They wouldnt even let us order a VRS back in November!

Am looking at an L&K TSI190.  I did ask them all if there was any specific part or upgrade that could slow it down and was told no.  The only thing to slow it down was if I wanted a diesel rather than petrol.

Nice! We were tossing up between the L&K and Sportline and went with the latter, plus all the options except pan roof. It would make a lovely switch from your Superb.

Hello! News from the seller…the car it’s still wainting for a boat…at the factory…so…i think in the 2nd week of march…🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Hope it won’t take long…for april….😂😂😂

Mine is finally at the dealer as of last week. Requested delay until March and i now have a confirmed delivery date of 1st March and a 23 plate, nice.

Interesting as I’ve ordered a VRs and was quoted 12 weeks.

@bigmegWhich of Scotland Dealership groups is getting it for you, and was that a car they already had order so with a build week?

Was west end Skoda in Edinburgh. I think it wasn’t on order and was basically a new order.

I got an update from my dealer yesterday.  There is still no build week for my vehicle but they did say that they are getting more updates each week about build weeks being allocated for vehicles and they are confident that they should have a build week for mine soon.

My dealer has told me that my car is now been assigned a production week of 11, which is the week beginning 11th March, but this is still to be confirmed.  This maps to the Skoda build code of 10.

I’ve now been told of a 4 week delay on all cars with a dsg gearbox.

Is that not then all cars? Manual isn't an option on any engine or trim anymore is it?

All Kodiaqs, yes. All Skodas, no.

They are working hard to ensure that the Models with low emissions are imported into the UK and first registered to assist in the VW Groups Average c02 fleet figures.

Since the PHEV's are not arriving there are Smaller models with DQ200 DSG's which are produced in the Skoda Factory in numbers of about 2,500 a day in the normal times.

The DQ381 DSG's as in the Kodiaq,s are not produced by Skoda as i understand, but that might have changed morerecently.

Really???...   That rules another Kodiaq out for me in the future then as we need manuals (SWMBO simply couldn't get on with the DSG when we were looking a couple of years ago).

Shame as the rest of the car suits us well.

The reveal of the next generation Kodiaq is to be this year.

If a mild hybrid or PHEV there will be Auto's but when they get their sh-it together and build enough of them and Enyaqs to have low average emissions they can have manuals in the UK again.
