Phoenix vs Trinity alloys

Featured Replies

What’s the difference between the two?

They look the same to me just a different name

I think it's same same.

Back in 2017 when I bought my Superb, they were called Phoenix.

At some point, recently, they became Trinity.

Not sure why, or what happened.

I initially thought Phoenix referred to the Anthracite version, and Trinity was the all Silver version.

My theory was.....

I think the cross over was around MY18.5.

And for what its worth, the part numbers remain the same, so they are the same wheels.

The name was done at the end of 2017 (at least in France). Mine was built in november 2017 and "glossy black Trinity" were mentioned on the PO at this time. ;)

It's a pity that the 18" Anthrecite Pegasus isn't available in 19"

(and before it's mentioned.......the Super Nova is not the same)
