Hello i was wondering if any one could help, my 1998 octavia 1.9 tdi 90bhp, coil light has come on and its a fault code g154 modulating piston movement senor sporadic fault, the car is stalling but only in reverse, has anyone heard of the problems and has anyone any idea of how to fix it. Any help would be very appreciated. thanks Adam.

It would help if you could post the full fault code reading. Are you using a fault code reader rather than VAG-COM?

I think it was just g154 i got it done by a diagnostic machine at a vw dealer not vag com. they think its a sensor in the diesel pump but don't know why its just stalling in reverse, so im at a bit of a loss
