As the title suggests, my rain sensing wipers in my octavia mk11 pre fl aren't working anymore but my auto headlamps work (have heard they both work with the same sensor). 

Please help

Why would they? You don't need headlights just because it's raining, or wipers just because it's dark.

Have you got the wiper switch on the first (auto) position?

Yes, they used to work in the auto position but they don't anymore.
