Still working to get the best out of the gadgetry in the my Enyaq 60 Loft.

 

However, I do have an issue that I hope someone will be able to help with:

 

I'm hard of hearing and although I can adjust things like Navigation Announcements etc on the 'Settings' menu, I am finding that the volume of incoming mobile telephone calls is very, very low (although apparently I am loud and clear at the other end of the call).

 

Is there a way of boosting the level of volume of a mobile call ? 

 

Can't see anything in the Handbook.

Whilst in a call, have you tried using the volume button on the infotainment to increase the volume? The volume slider is context sensitive, so adjusts the volume of whatever is active. I use a call to my voicemail service to adjust stuff like this.

No, I haven't as I assumed that there would be a volume control which could be set to apply to all calls.

and is it only available during a call ?

 

Its the same volume slider as you would use to adjust radio / media playback volume, just below the screen. That's what I meant by the volume slider being context sensitive. Go to the phone screen, initiate a call and see if you can increase the volume using the volume slider at the base of the infotainment screen.

I have discovered that by turning the left hand silver coloured wheel on the steering wheel, the volume can be increased and it then remembers that setting for the next call.

 

Pity that information didn't make the Handbook !!!

Ah yes! I didn't want to complicate things by mentioning that the steering wheel controls should work too - plus I didn't know if was left or right! Glad you found it and its working for you.
