Hello everyone..

Since some of u know that i had an accident with my Fabia and the glass if the passenger front door broke.. now the car is fixed.. door and door handles been replaces.. but they didnt find a glass for it.. and the dealer said it'll take 2 weeks which is first too much, and second its somethin i dont trust.. so do u guys think that the glass of a different car like the Polo will fit??

Have you tried a local independant glass windscreen company.

I would doubt the glass for other VW's would fit in the side door since each piece of glass will be shaped to the car exactly.

Two weeks seems plausable since i know somebody had to wait 4 weeks for one for a japanese car that isn't very common over here and a bit old too. I assume the fabia isn't that common over there.

Ya.. the car is not common... u hardly see one every week...

That suprises me as the spares guy at my dealer said he usually keeps a selection of windows just in cases someone needs one quick after a break in.

LoooooL... didnty came to me.. damm i should have done that..but the moment he knows tht i did it i'll be so dead... anyways.. i just got the car.. the dealer was right this time.. it took only 8 days .. ahhh got the door handles color coded too and the grill surround is coming soon...
