options fitted to our sportline +

Featured Replies

A few weeks have passed since we became superb owners, a sportline + 190 tdi dsg 4x4, it was an ex Skoda management car.

Whilst we know of the obvious options it was built with, spare wheel, full sonroof, heated steering wheel with gear change paddles, digital dash, we are not sure what else it may have.

I spoke to the Skoda sales person about this on Monday, I asked about the headlights and was told that they are 'adaptive' or something like that.

Found out It has radar cruise control but not sure if it was astandard fitment.

I asked for a build sheet and was told they do not exist!, so my question was how do they know what is required in a customers car when they build it, 'nothing on paper only on computer'

Is there a site I can go to to find out with its vin number or will Skoda uk be the best direction, was told they might not help find out by sales person which I find strange

Due to covid we were not able to have the normal hand over ,only a discription of basic driving as it is our first automatic vehicle.

Oh and what's with the wierd text I could only type in, or is it me-picnic.

Martin.

There is usually a white sticker under the boot carpet, stuck to the metalwork next to the spare wheel well, with the option codes on it. You can search these online to find out what you have.

Some of the later cars have had that 'feature' removed.

Get a 1hr account with Erwin Skoda, using ur VIN get a vehicle specific report.

It's a 7-9 page report on every PR build code used to build ur car, including wat options were fitted from factory.

The boot sticker is nowhere near as comprehensive or complete.

@JR RS is right. I followed his advice and I received the comprehensive report. Mine was 8 pages but I also downloaded all the manuals - In total 79 files. Probably overkill on my part but as I had paid for a 1hr account, I figured I would download everything I could.
