Morning all.
im picking up a superb on Saturday.
its the 4x4 model.
is there anything to keep an eye on or any common faults that happen ?

im moveing from the octivia to the supberb so im familiar with skoda ! :)

Have you checked that the Haldex unit has been properly serviced up to now?

i got a 2013 superb estate 170bhp 6speed dsg 4x4  last year  and i love it good on fuel picks her skurts up and goes when needed full leather high spec great car !

the only thing i would say is the length of of the estate is a bit deceiving when reversing into a small space or is that just me getting old lol!

cheers kev

I'd second that from experience...  have FSH including proper Haldex service intervals and still had issues.  I now use an independent to change the fluid AND the filter which Skoda don't recognise on their system.

However, when working properly its 'Superb' (sorry!)....

Timing belt, water pump and tensioner should also be done by now.

I bought a Carista OBD reader and use it regularly to keep an eye on faults etc, very handy.

Diesel I assume? - I use VAG DPF to keep an eye on the DPF status and try to allow regens to fully complete whenever possible.  I always use Shell VPower diesel, feel it makes a difference...

Enjoy when it arrives...!
