Having not used DAB on the unit before I have fitted a suitable aerial to the socket on the back of the unit and the aerial powered up ok.

 

Label on the unit confirms Bluetooth and DAB.

 

My problem is how to select the DAB frequency; I have unticked the option in VCDS Navigation menu to allow DAB to function and the coding was accepted, Digital Radio enabled in Canbus menu - but I only get options for AM and FM. 

 

What am I doing wrong folks?

Can you post an autoscan so we can see what's what?

I've been by a few people told that this is probably due to my aged micro-can vcds cable. 

 

I'm due to see Alex at VW Retrofit later, I'm confident he can resolve it.

Now working perfectly thanks to the fine work of Alex at VW Retrofit in Redditch, even with the **** aerial !
