Different models of 17" Triton alloy wheels for Karoq

Featured Replies

My sister has just bought a 2nd hand Karoq, and she's interested in getting a spare wheel which is identical to the ones which are currently on her car.  I have attached a photo of one of the wheels, which has a 215/55/R17 tyre on it.  From the brochure which I downloaded when I bought my own Karoq a couple of years ago, I assume that this must be the "Triton" wheel, which was available at that time as an after-market accessory under Skoda p/n 57A071497 8Z8 (see 2nd attached photo).  But in the latest Karoq accessories brochure which I downloaded from https://www.skoda.co.uk/_doc/d0ba0841-dcb0-462f-9c23-21fe72de6185, the "Triton" wheel has a similar part number (except for the last 3 characters, which seem to be generally just for different colour options), but the wheel design shown is COMPLETELY different (see 3rd attached photo).  Does anybody know whether this is an error in the latest Karoq accessories brochure?

The 3rd image looks like the image of a Trinity 7Jx18" in the brochure.

If I remember correctly, I think Skoda use slightly different part numbers on the wheels which are fitted to their vehicles when the cars are actually built, compared to the part numbers which are used when the wheels are sold as after-market accessories. I was going to have a look on eBay, and I think that anything which was originally fitted will have a different part number on it.  Does anybody know the part number which is shown on the Triton wheels which are fitted to the cars?

Unfortunately Karoq wheels are like hen’s teeth on Fleabay.  I was lucky, I got one set of 17” Ratikons on EBay and one set from Gumtree (5 for full set of winter wheels, 1 spare for “summer” set plus 2 that I haven’t found a use for), but I can’t remember ever seeing a Triton listed.

I live in Sweden and I too can no longer find Braga wheel listed on the local Skoda parts retailer website. I suspect that they have new more aerodynamic wheels and they wont sale the originals to meet more strict emission regulations or some other BS excuse 😞
