Aftermarket Alloys.

Have any owners bothered looking into this? Are the wheels on the Enyaq the same as any other alloys? I ask due to the large drum brakes on the rear so maybe they are a unique offset or something.

I wanted 19” wheels for my car but unfortunately the only one available had 20” rims and the difference in price between 19” and 20” tyres is huge. For regular use it wouldn’t be an issue but mine is going to be a taxi so I’ll be going through tyres pretty quickly.

Oh I don’t doubt that, but I’d be charged ridiculous money for them. It’s just shy of £1100 for a set of 19’s from ŠKODA.

as long as the fit is ok, I’d be confident of getting nicer looking wheels far cheaper elsewhere.

whoah, not sure how this double post happened

@Jaytip  Which version of the Enyaq do you have ?

Electric motors can produce very high torque on starting and need strengthened tyres if they are to last a reasonable time.  The Enyaq weighs about 2.5 tonnes so if you drive vigorously, you will be applying lots of force to scrub the tyres in corners.

For 19 inch, it is 235/55 R19 101T on 8J x 19 wheels with Offset ET45

Here is the mytyres link to electric vehicle tyres in 235/55 R19

I don’t have it yet, I’m collecting it next Thursday but it’s a 60. Driving wise, I’m pretty laid back and don’t drive fast at all.

My last Superb (the one under my username) was another taxi and on a motorway journey I’d always aim for 70+mpg and usually hit it.

I think they are 235/50/20

I've only looked on mytyres for tyre prices so far and 20” tyres started from around £150 I think.

245/45R20 could be used instead of 235/50R20. The Barum is available in this size for a lot less than £150.

Barum Bravuris 5HM 245/45R20 103Y XL £101.90

Hey,
I have 21" rims with summer tyres on it.

Can i buy new set ot rims with winter tyres, but different size? I'm little bit confused. Even in my dealership the people don't know exactly.

For example can i put 18" or 19"?

According to my tire dealer, the smallest approved rim size for the Enyaq (80, don’t know if the 60 is different) is 19”. So that’s what I’m getting for winter tires.

I don’t know if the rules differ by country though?
