Front wheel arch liner removal

Featured Replies

Hi folks, long time no post! With my trusty Octavia about to reach its 17th birthday, I was thinking it may be a good idea to take off the wheel arch liners and have a clean out. I don't have a jack and axle stands to lift the car safely. Can I remove them without having to remove the front wheels?

The wheel does need to come off. Invest in a jack as it’s well worth the money.

It may also be worth buying some new bolts for the liner. As you can bet that the ones on there now will be rusted and, you may need to cut them off. You can get bags of 10s/20s of them so you can replace them as you go around.
