Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I a newbie

I have just bought an Octavia 2018 estate. I have an android phone so I believe I have to have the phone cabled in to use the smart links satnav via android auto

Then I have tried to connect my ipod via Bluetooth and it kicks me out . am  I doing something wrong?

You can only have one device connected via Bluetooth at any one time.

 

Put the music on your phone and you can satnav and listen to music at the same time via Android Auto.

Even when your phone is wired up for Android Auto, it'll still use bluetooth

 

I'd either put your music on your phone or transfer it to an SD card and use that...
