March 1st UK starts with the 22 series registration plates for new car registrations. Then september cars with 72 series plates.

 

Did ask my dealer if arrives early if could hold out to register it for a 22 plate. Had no updates my self since last week if mines at port or in UK already, But I've been boat spotting all week for any leaving Emden bound for Grimsby , Looking this morning seems City of St. Petersburg on way to Grimsby 👀

I ordered my Scala in late July, I still have no factory build week.

 

All the dealer can tell me is that the factory has accepted the order there is not status update after that. 

1.5 TSI 150 PS SE-L spec plus front parking sensors option

 

As others have mentioned the only bonus now is it will be a 22 plate !

Hi, just discussed with my dealer and he informed me that we have week 34 of production for my car but without any VIN or other info. I ordered my Scala in September so it seems that i still have a long wait 😞, hope is not waiting for Santa   . 

 

My Scala is a Style spec (I think something between SE and SE L)  with 1.0 TSI 110 and manual gearbox. 

Phone call from dealer this afternoon car arrived at Grimsby this morning will get to them middle of next week so shouldnt be too long after that then 🤩

How can an order placed in September have a factory build week, but an order placed in July not !?

I contacted Skoda directly who said they can't deal with me directly, only the dealer can.

I contacted the dealer who said they have no further information!

I am in the same boat ordered later june 21 so a july 21 order and till date no news. Latest estimate was march/april 22 but also that has been wiped away last week. Till now nothing at all so very frustrating.

@Iggy_ZG sadly my situation has not moved on any further than factory accepted, getting jealous of all those ordered via a dealer getting supplied or soon to be supplied.  My seller (a third party as Skoda call it, not one of their dealers) has given me a bit more info but sadly it looks like only a small percentage of the orders on their books have been supplied, they said I'm further along than a lot of their orders as my order has been factory accepted but really I don't have any idea when I'm going to get my car!

 

Think by the time I get mine I won't be able to afford the petrol prices or we'll all be a bit too well cooked, crispy and irradiated to drive our cars.

it appears to be - the higher the spec (and/or additional options specified) the longer it is taking, which makes sense I suppose, what with the semiconductor situation

"KAmiq: The 110TSI Signature currently isn’t available with adaptive LED headlights and dynamic front indicators due to the same supply issue." Is this the high beam assist? i tought scala and kamiq have the same full led and not adaptive or am i missing something?

Just talked with my dealer. They didn't heard anything about those features. But he told me that for my order 17 weekly delivery has been 'confirmed'. Of course everything can change...

hang in there - they told me today it’s getting better although Scalas are harder to get than some other models.

I wonder why they are hard to get as they are ordered least, maybe not that profitable. Send an email this morning to the dealer and still no news. I feel bad to keep on bugging him but it drives me crazy seeing laters orders complete 😢

All right, got my Scala today - finally 😁 Will post some pics later. I'm back on work, and I'm trying to figure out how the hell do you connect your car with that MySkoda app.

Managed to activate it this morning. The main issue was that the app couldn't connect to internet. It was persistently showing "can't connect to the internet, please try again later" message. Tried to connect on a different location, and I got it working. Now it works on every location. No idea...

Nope, you first need to scan the chassis number via the app, and then pair it with the vehicle with the code provided in the app.

 

Edit: perhaps in Croatia we use a different app. In the dealership they told me that I must register my car with this badly rated Android app.
