Any Kodiaq parts diagrams on-line ?

Featured Replies

I want to order a few items for rear brakes ....

Can find sites that sell parts, but to identify the correct items really need a parts diagram/schematic .....

For example I go to   skodaparts.com    for Kodiaq it shows several bolts/screws, but without a diagram no way of telling which are the correct ones.

Anybody know a resource for parts drawings on-line?

Thanks for that ..... now I'm confused.

Videos showed Caliper held on by 2 machine screws

and Caliper fixed frame also held on by 2 machine screws

That parts list   https://tinyurl.com/yucy8rjx

shows no such fixing screws for the Caliper assembly .... refers to unit as 'floating Caliper brake'

Shows a guide pin & bush  (item 7)  ....anybody know what holds these pins into the Caliper Carrier ?   ae they screwed in ? ..... maybe end of them has a hex or torx socket

It does shows complete assembly is fitted to axle by bolts (item 8 )  but no part number listed.

Anybody worked on these brakes ?

Guide pin will screw into carrier I think. Probably a female hex inside the capped end to undo/tighten it with male hex key.

Item 8 appears to be  PN: N 91168901    M12X1,5X65

Try via here: LLLParts  not sure they're really allowed to make those catalogues visible to Joe Public, but they seem to be just now, so fill thy boots.

Thanks for that ... those diagrams are really useful.

Would you know where I could find Torque settings for the pins(7)   & fixing bolts (8)

Does Skoda make such information available ?    or anywhere else.

I think you may be able to find torque info on here. You can get workshop manuals for a small fee via erWin Skoda but someone will hopefully be along shortly to offer you a free pathway to the same info.

and not too tight.

Have been getting all parts together

Including the Calliper frame screws

These are M12 but have a female splined head.

12 pointed star

Anybody able to tell me what that is referred to as ? .....  so I can buy correct tool, assume I can get an appropriate 1/2" drive socket to suit ... once I know what the are called.

Think I have it right as a  'Triple Square'  .... its certainly not Torx

XZN by the sound of it, but be aware that these are sized in a confusing way.

The 'M' number of the bit doesn't (always/necessarily/ever??) equate to the thread size 'M' number.

Borrowing an image from here: TONE 3TS Triple Square (12P) Socket | Kouei Japan Trading Co., Ltd. (koueitrading.com)

If you measure corner to corner on the head you can work out what size bit you need:
