I am taking delivery of a new Superb iV SE Technology hatch in the next few weeks. I really like the look of the chrome strip on the rear. I initially thought that this was part of he facelift for all trims but now realise that it is only on SEL and L&K models.

 

My question is where can I but the strip (I am aware that it is in 3 parts) and will it fit properly on my SE Tech i.e. do SEL and L&K trims have different rear light units with a groove in the for the strip.

@bmoster - given u already have a facelift Superb - u can simply buy the chrome strip bits, as described in the discussion post linked above, and stick it on yours.

 

sadly for me, with a pre-facelift, its more work as i'll need an entire set of inner and outer tailights, new RVC, new boot handle, as well as modifying the wiring harness 😞

so i improvised and made my own, literally, chrome strip for my pre-facelift.

works for me
