Oil temp sender mounting?

Featured Replies

I assume that fitting the oil temp sender is easiest by using the sump plug hole somehow? It looks as if the thread would a bit small to be a direct replacement (although I've not compared it with the existing sump plug) What's the best way to attach it?

ps I'm planning to change the oil soon anyway so would need a new plug.

Easiest way is to get a double take off for the oil pressure switch, be a bit safer than hanging off the bottom of the engine aswell.

cheers, I'll have a look to see if I can find it.

I'm new to the 20VT engine and having no workshop manual means a bit of guess-work and as many hints as I can!

Thanks for that useful site! That looks straight-forward enough.
