Northumberland is full of Fabia VRs!

Featured Replies

Hello

I visited the beautiful county of Northumberland for the first time earlier this week and, particularly in Alnwick, the place seemed to be full of Fabia Vrs! I wonder why. Are the people more aware of the unique fun/economy or am I imagining that I saw so many or is it a case of "who cares get a life"!

What took you so long? It's because everything is so far apart so you need extra fast economical cars to save time or something.

Hey there , I live In Berwick , 28 miles up the road from Alnwick , I think its just because were tight up here and dont like paying for petrol...heheheh! I wish I could afford a vRS , if so there would be one more in 'The Border County'!

I,m from the Bedlington area about 15 miles north of Newcastle. I'ts because the roads are so good and ideally suited to the torque of the vrs (and bikes). I've noticed quite a few even in my local area and alot of them are driven by middle aged old gits like myself (47).

Plus we have loads of reasonably empty, unbelievable roads, scenery, no overcrowding, and most importantly, all the water we could ever need, and more. We've got that much we have to dump it.

Having said that it does rain quite a bit.
