Tomorrow is a sad day as I say farewell to my lovely Octavia. It has been traded in for a larger car,a CR V. I wanted a younger model but there was nothing out there at the time but I plan to stay on here giving advice to anyone with a Mk2 FL or Roomster my previous car. So OV62DKF will be out up for grabs,it has served me well and been totally reliable apart from the water pump failing a week before I sold it!

OV62DKF was on the dealers website Friday afternoon sold/reserved Saturday morning! In the 3 and a half years of ownership its retail value dropped £500!

The second hand car market is going off it's rocker right now as a result of manufacturing issues and probably some political stuff, but I'm no expert. You've done well in terms of depreciation!

Hi again. The service light won't reset using the press the trip method ,also the aircon won't blow out of the face vents despite recalibrating (might be another fault I guess) so Im thinking I'll need to reset the service light with a diagnostic tool Which one though? I should add I've never used one .

Hi everyone, I have a Skoda Fabia with a 1.2 AZQ engine. I have a warm running issue - the car misfires/stutters when fully warm. The intake air temperature (IAT) reads around 80°C when the problem occurs. When I unplug the EGR connector the car runs perfectly and IAT drops to around 30°C. Parts already replaced: EGR valve (new) + adaptation done MAP sensor (new) Coolant temperature sensor (new) PCV valve (new) EGR pipe is clean, no carbon buildup Breather hose between EGR and air filter ho

I first noticed water splashes on the plastic next to the area where the drivers feet are, A pillar area following heavy rain,initially thinking that water was getting past a door seal. Further investigation revealed water was leaking from the panoramic roof,onto the headlining then running down the A pillar trim,behind the plastic panels and being absorbed by the sound deadening under the carpet. 2014 SE. Had a low battery which failed to start the car. New battery. Car will start but dies after 3 seconds. Full tank of petrol. Dash engine light goes off but EPC remains on. Dash panel shows 'Safe' at all times. List of items checked: All fuses. Key fob battery. Spare key tried. Cam sensor changed. Ignition barrel and reader antenna changed. Crank sensor passes check. Have come to use the A/C for the first time this past week and noticed that pressing the button for the recirculating air doesn’t appear to work. Button presses but nothing happens it doesn’t light up and stays off Also through the media center doesn’t do anything, wondering if anyone has come across this before? Or is it a trip to Skoda?
