Skoda Octavia 2017 FL Led Headlight

Featured Replies

Hi Guys!

I got a 2017, 1.6 crtdi, DDYA Octavia with LED headlights. The main problem is that everyone know. Some fog in the headlight, but in my case it just in the right. (yeah i know it will be disappear but it's not.) So the left one is full clear. There is no crack or something like that, my question is. Is there any ventilation thing? How can it cool down itself? I ask it because maybe its clogged. Sorry for that stupid question but i don't want to pay a huge amount of money to buy a new one. I hope there is a solution for it.

It should clear itself. There are evaporation tubes to vent any condensation but it needs heat in the headlights to make it work. Try going on a long journey of an hour and see if that resolves it. Try and use main beam as much as possible (extra heat) and report back pls.

Thank you for your reply! I tried it today but nothing happened.

Cook the condensation off with a hair dryer. Don't go mad with it as you can melt the headlight.

So yes it disappeared but today i see it again. It was just in one headlight as before. I hope there is a solution for it or should i need to remove the whole headlight to check it?
