Hi all

I'm a new comer to skoda's and looking for some advice.

 

I have a 65 plate Monte Carlo and tonight my hand brake has started creaking when applying and taking off, has anyone else come across this?

If the creak is coming from the lever, then it's probably just needing a bit of grease at the pivot point, or the cable ends.

 

If it's from the rear drum brakes, then they need a clean.

I've used the car this morning and it seems fine??? I'll keep an eye on it and bear what you have said in mind.  Thanks again.
