Hi  - is the 272 still continuing in the future ? - very few about at dealers - and those that are are demo cars ???

 

 

Maybe they will do a 310PS version  same as Cupra and Golf R ?

280 engine is sill available on the Skoda online configurator. 
 

They’re probably not the kind of car that’s going to be sitting in stock (apart from the odd demo), especially during the current supply crisis. But I assume they’re there to order (if you can deal with the extended wait). 

As above really.  The 280 will be a special order only as they are not big sellers. I've got the pre facelift version of the 280 and the dealer I ordered it from had never sold one before.

They won't do a 310 version or this generation, otherwise they would have done it by now. It's easily done as the running gear is the same as the Golf R already. 

In real life I've found there is no real difference in speed between my Superb and a Golf R, despite the supposed extra 30bhp.

Cheers - I wondered as our 280 is just over 3 year old now - and we were considering upgrading it to a new one - but we will probably wait till the supply of cars is better so prices are not inflated.

 

wife wont have a Golf - but we might look at the New Cupra range
