On small left hand glovebox, the one for the cola can, there is a round holder of some sort, that on my car is empty.

It looks like it could hold a pen, only it's too wide..

What is it for? am I missing something?

this I think is right, as I cannot fit a pen in there but a spliff sits in there very happy! (I imagine anyway)

EDIT obviously not the above, as I've just pulled it off and it is not a pipe. It does have a rubber ring round it to allow it to expand, so definitley for gripping something, most probably a pen hoder then.

When your sat in the car, in the car park, waiting for Swmbo to return from the supermarket you can push your finger in and out to pass the time..................................Sad I Know.....:(

After the n'th time reading the manual I found out that both this tube and the holder in glove box are for pens.

Now I use one for the yre pressure meter (pen shapped) and the other for a pen.
