Which one? Picture of it?

240 volts AC to 400 volts DC the onboard charger is rated at 3.5kW but the current draw is about 10 amps, perfectly adequate for the use of a standard 3-pin socket.

I would partially agree with the above however this will be a constant 10A for quite a while and unless the socket you are using is a good one this may cause issues.

Do a charge from flat and after about 3 hrs go check how warm/hot the plug is to see if you are happy 🙂

I've felt the plug and it's never even been warm.

10A is not much at all. If the UK plug is rated 13A you can bet it can safely handle that and more for a long period of time. Cable maybe less so, but you could use 0,75mm2 cable and it would hold 10A for a hundred years. (Standard cable in most high power appliances is usually 1.5mm2).

even if it gets warm to the touch, its not a thing to worry. Even the Type2 cable warms a little when charging EV's.
