UK Options Change

Featured Replies

Just had a visit to the Skoda UK website and noticed that some of the options have changed. They have removed quartz grey and replaced it with graphite grey and there is no longer the 125kw charging option. Anyone noticed any other changes?

I’ve been looking too as my Kodiaq lease expires next spring.

The 125kw charging now appears to be standard. When you start digging there are a lot of items that are described in the options packs that are standard it’s all a bit misleading.

A bit annoyed as mine is still in the process of being built but I have had to pay for a lot of them options.

So having spoke to my salesman at Skoda, he has informed me that the price is the same and what I ordered will be as is.

He also stated that the price of the Enyaq has increased, but checking back they haven't changed, so as far as I am concerned I have paid £340 for something that is included, I wouldn't mind if the car has been built but according to the update its still on the production line.

I was trying to figure it out last week after a test drive.

trying to figure if a base 60, govt grant, is better than a base higher spec. Eg sportline.

I might play with the options tomorrow.

I found that printing a base model spec  sheet from other car builder and then using the brochure to work out the options is the only way it makes sense, as its not very clear when just using the car builder

The cynic in me makes me think they are trying to big up certain options when in actual fact many of the items are there in the base build.

Then there is the amount of effort or rather lack of it in actually describing the options. Can’t even get the translator to work properly (just take a look at the description of the heat pump option). As for the descriptions of the interiors and pictures I really can’t figure what to choose there.

50kW charging disappeared as an option in September. The base price went up as a consequence back then.

One thing that has returned to the November brochure and Configurator is that Infotainment Package Plus (ie the head up display) is now available on all trim levels again. Between May and October it was only available to order on Suite, EcoSuite and Sportline. That caused me to revise the 80 Loft spec I had been playing with, and switch to a Sportline 80 instead when I ordered in August. I dropped heated rear seats but ended up spending only about £1000 more for a significantly higher spec car because quite a few options are included, plus some I hadn't originally choses (eg adaptive headlights).
