That bit with the sticky-out tab (nearest the front) goes into the bit at the back of the cap.

That's the wee bit I'm missing. Has been like that since I bought the car and was told about it before purchasing.

 

I can still put petrol in the thing but before I had the thing for wedging under the pull release my front passenger did not enjoy having to stretch over to keep it pulled.

I get that bud like I say I was having to go into the boot and pull the release cable every time before filling up looked well dodgy lol.

Oops, I meant to put a post up to say that it's arrived from @@Lee on the continent a few weeks ago. I'm currently waiting for a time when it's warmer before I can do anything. I have so many jobs riding on that one warm Tuesday in July that we get here for "Summer".

I haven't no, Lee. Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to replace the entire shroud thing - if possible - as mine is pretty chewed up looking. Not happy about that. Contacted a breakers on eBay that had a 9892 (my paint code) bumper in stock but they didn't have the cap and shroud thing.
