Hi - has anyone had rattling issues - sounds like the front doors  (door cards)  ??? 

 

its so annoying when driving -    and especially so  as its just run out of warranty !!!

 

Love the car - but it is making me think the quality is still not as good as other brands

You’re questioning the build quality? You should hear my mates 2018 A6! Re. your car, it could be the well-known fuel pipe rattling. Do a search; there are a number of threads about it. Here’s one for starters…

I must admit we have been happy with the car for 3 years - but now when I tap about- it is very plasticy

 

only had one issue under warranty - the air con stopped working - turned out to be the control panel on the dash was faulty (had to get one from the factory - took 3 weeks right in the middle of 2020 heatwave !!!) - but it didnt stop the garage wanting to charge me for regassing the car after 18 months (or an air con service at £129 - and then told me how lucky I was that they had put a new condensor in - which wasnt faulty at all.

Cheers - did a search last night and it seems easy enough fix - so will get underneath over xmas break and hopefully sort it
