Featured Replies

Hi guys, I have the latest .zip update for my skoda superb, I unzipped it and copied to my formatted new SD card(FAT32), and my car doesnt recognize it. Says "Unable to read the release information file. Source not available"

can you help me out what I did wrong?

two question only, why does the engine have to be turned off? And can I update it engine running but everything like ac, lights and heaters being off?

Tnx

if the instructions say the engine needs to be off, I would assume there is a good reason for this. Follow the instructions accurately or it probably won't work. Personally with stuff like this where the chance of breaking something is high, I would follow the instructions to the letter.

My best guess is that you probably don't want the system to do an upgrade & reboot while you're zooming down the motorway 😁 so insisting that the engine be off is just a safety precaution.
