I own a rapid space back

I am using a 32 gb usb stick , i put say 15 albums on, and they all display,come back a couple of days later and half of them are missing, card is formatted exfat

Use FAT32, EXFAT is not actually supported by any of the Mk1 or Mk2 MDI or head units in the Rapid.

actually my mistake it is formatted to fat32

If I remember correctly certain higher quality recordings in certain formats (eg WMA) are not accepted by the head unit. Try saving the albums in a lower rate MP3 format and see if that works.

 

You don't state your cars age or Head Unit.

 

The Media Systems all changed in 2015.
