Tunit

Featured Replies

Have just ordered a Tunit for my 06 Fab ... anyone have any experience on fitting or using one of these ?

Easy to fit ... ? Anyone know how it connects to the battery ie there seem to be a few different conections ?

Hoping this could cure the dreaded stutter if mine has it when it arrives

Piece of cake to fit. if there are wires, one goes to the negative, the other connect to one of the positive connections.

then the main plug fits inline on the right hand side of the engine block. You need to take the cover off to see it, it just pulls off.

Performance benefit?

Cost?

Worth doing?

Hi

These are great boxes.

We have had Tunit round to see us and show us what they can do.

An absolute doddle to fit and to remove.

The BHP gains are good , but then they can be adjusted with a laptop.

We had a drive in a MK5 Golf 2.0tdi then the laptop came out with some minor adjustments this thing then shifts!!!

The torque was fantastic and came in very smoooooth!!!

I wanted one on my car , but at the moment it is not an option (another story)

But after the trial that I had I must admit they are VERY good.

They will improve fuel consumption by 7-10% and do not make the engine smoke.

These will fit all the PD engines , so if you change your car for another PD engine it will be a straight swap.

If you go for a different car completely then they do a part exchange too.

We ae at the moment becoming a dealer for these as we was so impressed with these.

We did have a PD150 Mk4 Golf on the rollers with one of these on and he achieved just over 200bhp

Do these boxes adjust the boost too? :D

Chris

Some new boxes will be hitting the streets soon, a quote from my contact is -

We will soon launch our new PD tuning system
