Octy vrs Insurance Quotes

Featured Replies

Anyone else with a late Mk1 Octy vRS found it a struggle getting online insurance quotes. My car was registered 2005, put this into confused.com and the only models it suggests (using the 1781cc engine) are Superbs.

Direct line only have an elegance 4x4 using this engine as a 2005 model, is the only answer to phone them up and lose the on line discount?

Neil

Assuming the model info on your V5C is correct just put the reg number into confused.com and hopefully the correct details will be used.

Doesn't recognise my plate, Direct line comes up with the elegance 4x4 when I put my reg in:confused:

Anyway Chris Knott knew what I was talking about and came back with an  quote.

Mine often comes up as an Ambiente!

And when i do it manually it wont come up as a VRS only as an RS?!?!

Ian

For qoutes, use 04 MY and confirm price on the phone before accepting the price.

Chris Knott undercut the lot of them, they'll be getting my business this year.

Unfortunately Chris Knott's most competitive insurer for vRS's won't allow cars to be parked on the road - only on a driveway or in a garage - so they're not as cheap as Adrian Flux were.

Still paying just under

RS is vRS

Can any1 give me chris knott's number for insurance please
