Warranty Direct.

Featured Replies

Have any you folk used/bought an extended warranty from them?

They seem reasonably priced, but I thought that I'd ask for personal experiences before making a purchase.

Thanks.

My experience is probably 20 years old so may not be relevant. Had a 406 estate, diverter flap under the dash failed to move and continuously clicked if you tried to change the air flow. Tried to claim as it was a dash out job. They refused on the grounds that the A/C and heater still worked and the warranty only covered complete failure. They were polite but had highly trained call centre staff who took me around in circles until I lost the will to live!

Yeah, that's my experience of failure insurance too; they will try to disallow and/or delay claims by more or less any means possible.

When the vehicle has had so many issues that required sorting under the Skoda Manufacturers Warranty you are as well buying a Skoda Warranty from Skoda/ VW Group so that when the try to say the issue is invalid because it is a known issue then you can tell them it was known by them yet they sold you a warranty.
